What I think about Reading?

I think reading is extremely important in literacy culture because it show your intelligent. When you first learn to read you look for vocabulary and content. As you begin to expose yourself to reading you realize the power of reading and how it can bring about social change. Reading is much more than the words itself, but an understanding of the material and the purpose of the text and the intent of it.

I think people read for a variety of reason such as pleasure, informative, entertaining, and learning something new that they did not already know. Reading allow us to understand the world in non verbal aspect and at the same time it speak for itself. Most of the time I read because it is required and sometime when I have time I would read something just for fun. The things that interest me the most about reading is new knowlegde that I not already know. For a lot of people they go through a lot of reading to better themselves as scholar and someone that is literate. Reading means a lot to people because it enable them to be part of a literacy culture that are able to read and write. For the most part I believe reading is essential in literacy culture because it tell something about yourself and your intelligent.
